Five of Arizona’s premier organizations are joining forces to support thoughtful civic engagement and civil dialogue. A Day of Civic Action is focused on inspiring Arizonans to discuss key issues, to connect with one another and to support leadership in achieving important social and economic success. Spend all or part of the day and start effecting the future of our state right on the spot.

Who Votes? Who Helps? Who Speaks for Arizona?
Attendance Fee: No charge; advance reservations encouraged.
7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Public release of a new study, The Arizona Civic Health Index, by the Center for the Future of Arizona.

9:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The Status of Women in Arizona: A Special Report and Call to Action by the Arizona Foundation for Women.

Arizona Town Hall Fall Luncheon

10:30 a.m. Registration, networking and silent auction.

Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Luncheon featuring keynote Frances Hesselbein, “Leadership that Sustains Civil Society,” and presentation of the 2010 Shirley Agnos Arizona Town Hall Legacy Award honoring Donald Shropshire, President Emeritus, Tucson Medical Center and Former Chair, Arizona Town Hall.

It’s Up To Me AZ: The Action Starts Now – a Dynamic Open Space Strategy Session

1:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Engage in new conversations to create an Arizona community that works for each and all.

Inspiration & Action for AZ
Attendance Fee: $125    
5:30 p.m. reception; 6:00 p.m. Dinner
Provocative insights on civic engagement with world-known leadership expert Frances Hesselbein and former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, facilitated by Dr. Lattie Coor.
